MOVES/Candida Diet while traveling

Things to consider:
- Are you renting a car?
- Will you be able to get good water?
- Will your room have a refrigerator?
- Can you check a cooler as luggage?
- Will you have a place to get quality food?
- Do you have your supplements?
- Will you have a place to cook food?
Ideas:
In my checked luggage I take:
- plenty of home-made jerky if that works for you.
- small cans of salmon and tuna
- a head of organic cabbage
- fresh garlic
- a couple jars of organic
- coconut oil (carefully protected)
- supplements
At the airport:
- My purse is ready...Take one serving of coconut oil(and spoon),
- veggies, and jerky with you to the airport if you need a meal. I step
- into the restroom or find some privacy and eat one serving of coconut
- oil along with veggies and protein.
- Wash it down with plenty of good water.
- jerky makes it through security. Just be sure it is in a plastic bag
- and out of your purse as you go through...
At the other end:
- Rent a car and find green veggies.
- Buy a bag of ice if necessary.
- Don't forget the bottled water.
When "dining" in a group:
- Compliment their food if you feel you must.
- "Looks great, maybe later" or "Gee, thanks for the offer, but I am on a restricted diet right now...medical stuff", followed by lots of smiling and jovial conversation help.
- Water, coconut oil, and jerky are very portable. I usually feel compelled to have the coconut oil in privacy as it attracts attention. Sometimes I just don't want to get into the "science" of it all. Other times I do share my WOE and why. Most often someone has a light bulb go on for themselves or a loved one with similar issues.
- If you will be outdoors in a warm climate, the coconut oil will melt and look like water. You can sip it from a small jar.
With planning, commitment, creativity, and a lot of good cheer, you
can do this. :) The trekkers on Arctic expeditions do it with pemmican and water. :) Hey, we are not eating penguin. Has anyone else read/seen "Endurance" about the Shakleton expedition to the south pole. Kind of puts my issues into perspective.
